Shot types in Doc Matin
At the beginning it starts of with a MASTER SHOT this is to show where the scene and action is about to take place.
Then when the characters are talking there is a SHOT REVERSE SHOT as the camera is close up on just one character so we cant tell who they are speaking to the only way we can tell is by looking at the heights which show there status.
When Doc Matin becomes angry there is a medium close up which emphasises his reaction.
When Doc Martin is walking to the police station there is a FOLLOWING SHOT and there is signals of sea gull which the ESTABLISHING SHOT indicates that the village is by the sea.
when DOC Martin is talking to the police officer there is a MEDIUM CLOSE UP SHOT.
The EXTREME LONG SHOT is used when Doc Martin is walking from the police station as well as when he is walking up to the lady introducing herself to him.
Lastly there is CLOSE UP SHOTS when Doc Martin is staring at the teacher which a patch on her eye.
